Sensei Annick,

For my personal training I feel like Budokon has opened my eyes to and given me a much deeper understanding about my Tang Soo Do training, in terms of creating the right synergy when executing techniques, teaching techniques, and studying techniques.

Since beginning Budokon I recognize the healing aspects of what we do in Tang Soo Do and am able to refine those techniques. I also find many Tang Soo techniques in our Budokon movements.

Budokon is definitely improving me in totality not just in my Martial arts.

Annick, our Budokon weekend felt like a retreat far away somewhere back in the beginning of time. I feel as if I've been to the jungle and met many interesting and fascinating animals some with curious and interesting gaits and then to the orient and perhaps as an extra background person in a kung fu slow motion movie. The whole experience shared with such beautiful and mindful spirits was extremely inspirational and will stay with me forever. I have had such a fantastic day in the ER; I have been filled with boundless energy all day; is this a side effect of budokon?

Again a thousand thanks for introducing me to this wonderful and unique art; I am very proud and excited to be beginning this journey!

Of the various exercise regimes/disciplines that I have experimented with in my adult life, my Budokon classes with Annick have been the most complete and rewarding in many ways.

By complete- I refer to Annick's teachings as being not only an interesting combination of aerobic, strength, and flexibility instruction, (with the total being more than the sum of its parts), but additionally my weekly one hour Budokon experience heightens my awareness of just how much I can accomplish while discarding previous notions of my limitations.

Once Annick warmly welcomes the class, she initiates a journey of challenging and invigorating movements combined with thought provoking concepts that energize my body, mind, and spirit.

Each class is intellectually stimulating, physically challenging- providing noticeable results, and spiritually calming - which offers a precious balance to my active life. One hour of Budokon under the guidance of Sensei Annick gives me an opportunity to reflect and look inward resulting in making wiser lifestyle choices.

My Budokon practice began several months ago and I have been hooked ever since. It is physically demanding (one of the most intense "workouts" I have ever discovered) but I don't feel as though I am "punishing" my body but rather respecting it. I feel stronger and more energized. It has also given me more confidence; to attempt and succeed at poses that I never would have imagined doing or even trying before is a great feeling.

More than just a workout, my Budokon practice also helps me to stay centered and focused. Sensei Annick is truly an exceptional teacher, she is extremely knowledgeable in many aspects of the art and in life in general. She is an inspiration not only by what she says but by how she demonstrates it. I have tremendous respect for her.

Best of all, Budokon is a lot of fun !

I have been practicing Budokon with Sensei Annick for 5 months now. She is inspirational. I love everything about the class; the people, the physical element,the mental and emotional components.The class is physically challenging but it also builds a stronger inner strength. When I leave class I feel capable of pushing the limits in my everyday life and that achieving whatever I want is possible. Annick is an amazing teacher, she has such an intensity, joyfulness and love of what she's doing that you can't help but push yourself that little bit extra.Budokon has made a great impact on my life and I wish that everyone could try it and have their lives affected by this beautiful art.
